Sinjavina Mountain

Sinjavina is a large mountain massif in northern Montenegro, located between Kolašin and Žabljak. It is one of the most extensive mountain plateaus in the Balkans and is known for its wide open landscapes and alpine pastures.
The highest peak of Sinjajevina is Torna (2,277 m). The massif stretches in a northwest–southeast direction and covers approximately 40 km in length and 15 km in width.
Unlike many surrounding mountains, Sinjavina is mainly composed of limestone, with a vast high mountain plateau averaging around 1,600 metres above sea level and only a few prominent peaks rising above it.

Lakes and nature
Sinjavina is home to two glacial lakes, Zabojsko Lake and Zminičko Lake, both of which are natural mountain lakes surrounded by untouched landscapes and traditional alpine pastures.
